Lucky Strike Fireside Fernweh

Joules is a gorgeous long coated male that we purchased as a puppy from Fireside Fernweh. He is of South American and French lineage and is growing up very lovely and we have plans to begin using him as one of our stud males. Joules has a lovely snow white coat and jet black pigmentation, to include black nails and grey skin. He is long coated, with an appropriately rough outer coat. Joules has a correct topline, straight, level and without break or roach. His croup is nice and long, having an appropriately attached tail that is long and with perfect sabre as described in our breed standard. He is well balanced in front and rear shoulder and pelvic angulation, giving him a well balanced gait with smooth covering of ground and lovely reach and drive. He is still maturing in his musculature, but Joules has nice width of chest and will be a very masculine and large bodied male at full maturation. Having nice feet, pasterns, hocks, and having dark eyes and a masculine and angular head in both muzzle and backskull. His temperament is soft and gentle. He responds best to gentle corrections, and is open and friendly in public. He likes balls, bones, and is very well behaved though he is happy to shred soft or stuffy toys. He is intelligent and trains easily using simple kibble and mild leash pressure for cues. Joules is a middle pack order dog, neither submissive nor dominant with other dogs. His gentle nature makes him not suitable as a protection dog, but he does have defensive drive and will alert to people approaching. He has medium prey drive and has natural instincts for lure coursing type sports. Being a softy, he is sensitive to his people and is eager to please.
